What your mentor does.
- Architecture review. Regular sessions where your team defends design decisions to someone who’s shipped at scale.
- Code review on request. Deep reviews on tricky PRs — system design, performance, security.
- Unblock on hard problems. When your team hits a wall that search engines don’t solve, your mentor is there.
- Career guidance. Resume review, mock interviews, referrals — for members ready to job hunt.
What you need before you apply.
- Successfully complete a Standard Voyage
- Be prepared to commit ~15 hours / week for 10 weeks
- Meet with a Chingu mentor to get your questions answered and ensure a good fit
